Navigating the Future
The 52nd Annual CCBA convention was held April 20 - 23 at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Incline Village, Nevada.
The convention opened on Friday with a presentation with wine and cheese pairings from Max McCalman, World Renowned Cheese Expert. That evening, guests enjoyed a pirate themed dinner and games.
Saturday’s business session continued with Jim Seiple, Vice President, Own Brands, Albertson’s who presented New Product Development for the Non Product Developer. Dr. Cynthia Daley, Organic Dairy Education & Research Program, CSU, Chico, spoke on Organic Dairy Challenges. Josh Zodikoff, Customer Solutions Merchant, Service Deli, Save Mart Supermarkets presented on Evolution of Specialty Cheese at Save Mart. The (Nearly) Impossible Dream: Comprehensive Tax Reform in 2017 was presented by Dr. Start Dorsey, President, Texas Lutheran University.
